Start Em Sit Em Week 13

Alright guys I’m not the regular person that writes this article, he’s on vacation. I’m the guy who answers all the questions on the twitter account (@fantasyfbinfo). Here we go!

Start ‘Em

Matt Cassel (KC) – Cassel is playing the Denver team he put up 32 points against just 3 weeks ago. This time he’s at home. Expect him and Mr. Bowe to hook up early and often.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buf) – Fitzpatrick is not afraid to throw the ball all over every team he plays. Expect that trend to continue.  With Minnesota’s weak secondary he should have a good 20 + point fantasy game.

Sam Bradford (Stl) – Let’s be honest the Cardinals are terrible. Bradford will throw a couple TD’s.  Start him with confidence.

Sit ‘Em

Joe Flacco (Bal) – Flacco has never put up great numbers against Pittsburg. I don’t see this ending this week.  Expect a couple turnovers and around 11 fantasy points.

Matt Schaub (Hou) – Matt has been the definition on inconsistent this year. Philly is playing great defense and forcing turnovers. Should be a good Thursday night game.

Running backs

Start ‘em

Jonathan Stewart (Car) – Stewart’s game last week has him back to taking the majority of the carries. He’s playing a banged up Seattle defense, and with a rookie QB sharing the backfield with him these are all signs of a big game for Stewart.

Toby Gerhart (Min) – If AP is too hurt to go expect to see a lot of Gerharts face and playing the worst rushing defense in the league sounds like music to my ears.

Mike Tolbert (SD) – Two straight 100+ yard games is reason enough to be starting him. Playing on the hottest team right now helps too.

Sit ‘em

Ray Rice (Bal) – He’s playing Pittsburg, that’s a tough defense for even the best of RB’s to face. He only had 8 attempts for 20 yards and 2 fantasy points. His numbers shouldn’t be that low again, but they won’t be much better.

LeGarrette Blount (TB) – Atlanta is playing good football all around. They held him to only 4 fantasy points the last time they played. I wouldn’t be shocked to see that exact number again. I’m just not sold on all the hype. Plus his name is really hard to spell.

Cedric Benson (Cin) – I can’t tell you how many times people ask me if they should start Benson. I have him as my 25th RB in the league right now. Don’t start him this week and don’t start him anymore this season. Now maybe he will read this and blow up for a huge game (see Felix Jones).

Wide Recievers

Start ‘Em

Jeremy Maclin (Phi) – He has been putting up solid numbers all year and doing it against tough defenses (NYG, CHI) now against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Expect another big night from him, Vick, and every other Eagle…. Except Celek

Mario Manningham (NYG) – Hey, Eli has to throw it to someone, might as well be Manningham.

Percy Harvin (Min) – Expect a nice bounce back game from Percy as they play Buffalo and I think I could catch a couple TD’s against that secondary.

Sit ‘Em

Chad Ochocinco (Cin) – Playing the 3rd best pass defense in the league. No thank you, meet the bench Mr. Ocho.

Randy Moss (Ten) – He’s done.

Tight Ends

Start ‘Em

Jacob Tamme (Ind) – surprisingly enough he isn’t starting in most leagues (including my own) if you have him. Start him.

Jason Witten (Dal) – Kitna is looking his way a lot more often now. Expect close to a hundred yards and a TD against Indy.

Sit ‘Em

Brandon Pettigrew (Det) – Tough matchup against the number 1 ranked defense in the league. Sit him if you have options at this position, any option.

Brent Celek (Phi) – Yes I know he caught a TD last week, Yes I know we have had him on the sit em list for the past 4 weeks.  Vick looks down field and if it’s not down field or across the middle to Maclin he runs the ball. That leaves Celek to block. Until they give you fantasy points for pancake blocks, he’s riding the pine.

Start ‘em

Green Bay – You are probably starting them anyways but playing the 49ers is like taking candy from a baby.

Saints – I’m going to start any team playing the Cincinnati Bengals from here on out.

Sit ‘em

Buccaneers – They are playing the red hot Atlanta Falcons. They put up 5 fantasy points against them last time they met but I don’t expect that number this time around.

Raiders – Chad Henne scored 33 points against them. Chad Henne is no Phillip Rivers. Expect negative points. I smell a blow out.
