If you follow us on twitter (@FantasyFBinfo) you know we asked for any suggestions on whom to sit or start this week. We received a lot of feedback and decided to include one of our followers in this week’s publication.
Josh Freeman (TB) – He has been steady all year and will likely throw for about 200 yards and 2 TDs when he plays Detroit (the 25th ranked defense against fantasy QBs).
Jon Kitna (DAL) – The Redskins have given up huge games to fantasy QBs this season (Michael Vick on Monday night). While Kitna will not get you 57 points, he could easily get you 20 this week.
Eli Manning (NYG) – Look for Eli to get back on track against the Eagles this week. They have allowed at least 2 TD passes in each of their last five games.
Joe Flacco (BAL) – The Saints have been shutting down QBs all year. They have not allowed a QB to throw a TD six times this season. I don’t see Flacco getting you many points in this one.
Jay Cutler (CHI) – The Vikings have held QBs to under 12 PPG in their last 3 contests. Cutler looked bad in the snow against New England so don’t depend on him as your last hope on Monday night outdoors in Minnesota.
Jonathan Stewart (CAR) – He plays the worst defense against fantasy RBs. He has been running well since returning to the lineup and will continue this Sunday when Arizona comes to town.
Tim Hightower (ARI) – The rushing defense in this contest will be nonexistent. Carolina is the 3rd worst defense against fantasy RBs and TIMMYYYY ran great last week.
Fred Jackson (BUF) – The Dolphins shut the Bills down in week 1 and while that was a long time ago, they have gotten back to that in the last 3 weeks against OAK, CLE and NYJ. They gave up 4, 7 and 7 points respectively.
LaDainian Tomlinson (NYJ) – All the Steelers do is shut down the run game. Sit both him and Shonn Greene.
Santana Moss (WAS) – The Cowboys rank dead last against fantasy WRs. Moss should get his fair share of opportunities this week.
Pierre Garcon (IND) – He has been hot the last two weeks and plays the 27th ranked defense against fantasy WRs.
Anquan Boldin (BAL) – The Saints are #1 against fantasy WRs. They have only allowed 4 TDs to WRs all season. I suggested you sit Flacco so sitting his #1 receiver is also a good idea.
Michael Crabtree (SF) – The Chargers rank 2nd against WRs. Get him out of your lineup this week as he had only one catch last week with Alex Smith back at the helm.
Marcedes Lewis (JAC) – He scored a TD in their first matchup with Indy and the Colts just allowed 3 TDs to the Titans tight ends and a total of 6 TDs in their last 5 games to tight ends.
Zach Miller (OAK) – Denver is 28th against fantasy TEs. His solid performance last week at Jacksonville is promising. He and Campbell may finally be on the same page.
Owen Daniels (HOU) – He had 5 catches for 91 yards against the Ravens on Monday night and they are the 2nd best defense against TEs. Hopefully he finds pay dirt this week against a better matchup in the Titans.
Kellen Winslow (TB) – The Lions are surprisingly tough against TEs. They hold opponents under 5 PPG and have only allowed 3 TDs to tight ends all season.
Brent Celek (PHI) – He is still starting in 51% of leagues. That number should be 0. He was shutout in week 11 against them and he was actually shut out last week. The Giants are also 2nd vs. fantasy TEs.
Cleveland Browns – Carson Palmer loves throwing interceptions, pick sixes even. The Browns defense should get a couple turnovers gift wrapped from him just in time for the holidays.
Chicago Bears – The Vikings will be starting Joe Webb this week, fortunately for the Bears, not Tom Brady.
New York Giants – They did pick Vick off twice in week 11 but I don’t see that happening this time around. The Eagles will fly high as they have in every game with Vick under center.
Green Bay Packers – Two words: Tom Brady.
As mentioned above, I am going to include one of our followers on twitter’s suggestions this week. Thank you for all of your suggestions. This week’s winner is:
@jak84stl: Sit Greg Jennings and start the New England Patriots defense because the Packers will be missing Aaron Rodgers due to his concussion.
