After an extremely disappointing sophomore season, isn’t this a little high for Ryan Williams? I’d have trouble considering him a top 10, let alone a top 3 running back given that he has only had one strong season, that coming in his freshman year. Other than that though, I like much of your RB rankings, IMO Quizz and Ridley are too low, but at least someone else agrees with me that Daniel Thomas isn’t all that special.
I think Ridley proved this weekend he belongs where he is. He was recruited to be a fullback at LSU. He benefited from great line player. Shows nothing special as a runner and is VERY slow. Jacquizz was pretty bad as well. It’s a deep Running Back class, and ‘Quizz needed to show top-notch speed and quickness, which he didn’t.
Ryan Williams is an excellent natural runner. Opposite story for Williams, his Offensive Line was bad this year. Can’t run when you have no holes. Williams still flashes some big-time ability though and also, let’s remember he also was a bit banged up. He is very quick and very explosive.
