Carson Palmer Could Split Time at QB on Sunday

Palmer could split some snaps with Kyle Boller and Terrelle Pryor.

Earlier this week ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported “Carson Palmer is expected to start Sunday versus the Chiefs,” but today he reported something else.

Two people familiar with situation believe it is unlikely Carson Palmer will start Sunday, though no final decision has been made.

If Palmer can’t start then Kyle Boller will be the man to take snaps from the center. Even though Boller might get the start, John Dickinson (reporter for 95.7 The GAME) reports that the Raiders might play¬†multiple¬†quarterbacks against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Coach [Hue] Jackson again hinting that more than one QB could get action vs. Chiefs

Even former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor got first-team practice reps throughout the week, meaning he could be used in some packages at quarterback. It’s definitely an interesting situation that Oakland has at quarterback ever since Jason Campbell broke his collarbone.

While Boller might get the start this week, it’s obvious that Palmer will be the starter after following the bye week. One thing is for sure though, stay away from all Raiders quarterbacks this week in fantasy.
