There have been conflicting reports on Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw’s foot injury today.
Earlier today, Mike Garafolo of NJ.com reported that Bradshaw has a cracked bone in his foot.
Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw suffered a cracked bone in his foot during Sunday’s game against the Dolphins and is out indefinitely, according to someone informed of Bradshaw’s health status.
Then, later in the very same day, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets the following.
Person familiar with Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw’s injury texted this: “Not serious injury – should play Sunday. No surgery (needed).”
If the person who texted Schefter is wrong and Bradshaw can’t go, then Brandon Jacobs will get to take over as the starting running back with D.J. Ware and Da’Rel Scott being the backups. Either way, if you own Bradshaw in fantasy it’d be wise to have Jacobs as his handcuff.
As for other Giants injuries, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks did not participate in practice today. It’s the second straight day that he has not practiced.
