There were reports over the weekend of Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant being detained after a fight and the newest details reveal that he was involved in a fight with rapper Lil Wayne.
Details are sketchy about the altercation, but according to the Dallas Morning News, the fight began when someone (now assumed to be Lil Wayne) started to tease Bryant about his play on the field and his debt problems.
Bryant’s mentor, David Wells, confirmed that Bryant got involved in a verbal altercation with some members of a famous rapper’s entourage and had to be detained by police. Miami Herald reporter David Smiley posted on Twitter that an MBPD source said Lil Wayne was involved in the incident.
This isn’t the first time that Bryant has had problems off the field. He’s been involved in many incidents and he’s now getting a bad reputation. The Cowboys have not yet made a statement regarding Bryant’s situation.
