Despite not throwing at the combine, Baylor’s Robert Griffin was still able to make an impact at the annual event held in Indianapolis.
Griffin ran a 4.41 40-yard dash, which was the best among his position. In fact, it’s the fastest QB 40-yard dash time since Texas A&M QB Reggie McNeal’s 4.35 in 2006. Griffin also posted the best vertical jump by a quarterback by leaping 39 inches. Griffin finished third amongst quarterbacks in broad jump, jumping 10 feet.
There was no questioning Griffin’s athletic ability going into the combine, but his numbers just ensure scouts that this guy is a rare talent.
