Monday Night Football on ESPN will be without Ron Jaworski in the booth next year.
“I am grateful for having the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of working on Monday Night Football the past five seasons with Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden and so many other talented people behind the scenes who make the show so great,” Jaworski said in a press release sent out by ESPN. “I look forward to bringing my passion and knowledge of the game to more fans in more places than ever before on any and all football topics.”
Still staying in the booth are play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico and color commentator Jon Gruden. It is unknown whether or not ESPN will look for someone else to make it a three man announcing crew or not.
Jaworski has been calling games on MNF for the past five seasons.
