We’ve already found out that the Chiefs have sent Peyton Manning a contract, the Dolphins are all-in on him and now Mike Klis and Woody Paige of the Denver Post are reporting that Manning will meet with John Elway and other Broncos officials Friday night.
The report also included a note that a source said Manning will also visit the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins after visiting with the Broncos. The visit with Denver will include Elway, coach John Fox and GM Brian Xanders.
ESPN has confirmed the meeting and have a few extra details. Both Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report that the meeting will include “no contract negotiations” and Peyton will not work out.
The Broncos pursuit of Manning is an interesting one considering the success of Tim Tebow last season. Tebow was able to get Denver to the playoffs and he was also able to win a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
