Multiple reports from Texas say Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was arrested Monday by DeSoto police on a family violence charge.
Bryant was charged charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assaulting a female family member, according to reports. The 23-year-old receiver turned himself into police and posted bond.
Details of the incident are unknown at this point. The Cowboys have not released a statement regarding the matter yet. Bryant briefly spoke to a Dallas TV station and confirmed there was an incident, but didn’t shed much light into what happened. Just told them, “I’m good, I’m good.”
The Cowboys receiver is no stranger to off-field conflict. He was involved in a fight in January, was banned from a mall for wearing baggy pants and getting into an argument with a security officer last year and was sued by jewelers who claimed Bryant failed to pay $850,000 of custom-made jewelry.
