It’s been a while since Terrell Owens has been in the news. The veteran receiver was released by the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League earlier this year and no NFL team has expressed interest in the 38-year-old, until now.
The Seahawks announced that they will work out Owens on Monday. This is coming in the off-season where Seattle has released both Mike Williams and Antonio Bryant. Bryant was recently released by the team after signing with them just 10 days earlier.
Seattle has also signed Braylon Edwards in recent days. Coach Pete Carroll apparently wants to have a veteran presence at wide receiver. So much so that they were willing to sign Bryant, who hadn’t played in the NFL since 2009 and now Owens who hasn’t played since 2010.
