According to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer, the Seattle Seahawks and veteran receiver Terrell Owens have agreed on a one-year contract.
Glazer says that Owens has not signed the deal yet, but the two sides have agreed on terms. The 38-year-old receiver had a tryout with the team earlier on Monday.
During the tryout, it was reported that Owens ran a 40 in the 4.4′s, which is very impressive for his age. His tryout must’ve gone well because it led him to getting signed.
The Seahawks have also recently signed some other veteran wideouts this off-season. They signed Braylon Edwards (he’s still on the team) and they signed Antonio Bryant (he is not on the team any more).
Owens has not played in the NFL since 2010 when he was a member of the Bengals.
